Welcome to the new school year at Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy (MGLVA). We’re excited that you’re interested in joining our school community! At MGLVA, we create authentic connections for students, families, and teachers in a virtual environment.

MGLVA is a public school using an innovative educational model to provide your child with the best education possible. As a statewide school available to Michigan students in K-12, our unique educational approach allows us to tailor an education experience specific to each learner.

Our goals for this school year are for students to realize the highest levels of academic achievement and to build a school community. The K12 curriculum and our school programs were designed with these goals in mind.

When you enroll in our school, you partner with a team of knowledgeable and experienced educators. Michigan-certified teachers work with you to monitor your student’s progress, attendance, and content mastery while providing professional insight, instruction, and support. Our administrative staff is committed to the success of every child in the program.
