Caps Off to the MGLVA Class of 2025

The tassels have officially turned, and the Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy Class of 2025 is stepping confidently into the future! 

This year’s graduation was far more than just a ceremony — it was a heartfelt celebration of perseverance, growth, and the strong community that defines MGLVA. 

Families, friends, teachers, and staff came together, both in person and virtually, to honor the remarkable accomplishments of our graduates. For many students, it was their first time meeting classmates and teachers face-to-face, and smiles, hugs, and shared joy made the day unforgettable. 

There were cheers and a few happy tears. Personalized caps lit up the room with creativity, and standing ovations reflected the pride we all felt. But more than anything, there was a powerful sense of achievement and hope, and excitement for where they’ll go next. 

From students who balanced academics with jobs, caregiving, or personal challenges, to those who found their confidence and voice in the virtual classroom, each MGLVA graduate has a story that matters. These stories are the heart of our school, reminders that with support, encouragement, and resilience, our students can accomplish incredible things.
