Mid-Michigan 10th Grader Places 2nd in National Photography Competition

Cora, a 10th-grade student at Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy, placed second in the K12 National Photography Competition for her stunning photo of rain droplets on a leaf. Competing against over 12,000 entries, Cora’s creativity and technical skill earned her a $500 prize. “We are thrilled to see her talent recognized,” said Kendall Schroeder, MGLVA’s head of school. The competition celebrated student artistry, awarding $20,000 in prizes across various categories.
