Make a Difference

What if high school was all you needed to get started on your dream job? Many healthcare careers don’t require a college degree. You can begin making a difference sooner than you thought!

Which pathways are offered?

Electrocardiography—This pathway trains students to become EKG technicians by teaching them the skills needed to perform diagnostic tests and assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and heart conditions.

Pharmacy Technician—This pathway prepares students to assist licensed pharmacists in providing health care and medications to patients in medical settings such as hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and labs.

Phlebotomy—Students in this pathway learn to perform phlebotomy procedures safely and competently, ensuring accurate and reliable blood sample collection for medical testing and diagnosis. Phlebotomy is a critical aspect of healthcare and is typically performed by trained phlebotomists, nurses, or other medical professionals.

Physical Therapy—This pathway prepares students for careers in physical therapy by teaching biology, anatomy, and rehabilitation techniques. Students learn about improving mobility and strength, relieving pain, and correcting disabling conditions.

Sports Medicine—In this pathway, students acquire the skills, practices, and theories related to the health and safety of athletes, preparing them for careers as athletic or personal trainers.

Veterinary Assistant—In this pathway, students learn about animal health and well-being and veterinary clinical practices. Upon completion of the program, students receive a certificate of completion, detailed information needed to enroll in and take the national Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA) credentialing exam.
